It is very exciting when children take and idea and extend on it. When Lily saw the Picasso faces she said, “Can we paint our faces?” What a great idea. I asked the children if they had face paint at home to bring it along. Bella must have been excited about this and asked her family to buy some face paint for Pre School (I know this because I saw Grandma in the supermarket!)

I wanted the children to start thinking more deeply about their art – so I asked them to draw a plan of how they wanted their faces painted.

Marney and Sara came in and helped bring the plans to life. Well done Mum’s!

We have left the face paints out for the children to do themselves and Mrs gayle in the mirror!
