We had a pretend ‘accident’ at Pre School last week and the children rushed to take Amelia to ‘Hospital”. This week the children helped Mrs Gayle set up a Hospital Corner in the room for everyone to play with. Next week we will go to the hospital to see what a real hospital is like and to learn about Hand Washing techniques. Playing real life experiences (ie having an injection) helps children feel comfortable when they face these situations in real life. The hospital is an important part of the Manangatang Community and they love us to visit.
