Over the last few weeks we have been working on a project to make Picasso Heads out of cereal boxes. I wanted the children to learn that art is a process. It can take many sessions and involve layers. First we painted the boxes white to cover the print (two layers). Then we painted the boxes in two colours and added a black line. The final step was to add collage for the features. We have strung then up to the rafters and the children loved the result of all their hard work. I think we did Picasso proud!
